Free radicals cause wrinkles and are responsible for hyperpigmentation. Therefore it is important to eat foods that are rich in anti-oxidants.
Berries like blueberries, strawberries and raspberries are packed with antioxidants. Oranges, grapefruits and lemons are rich in vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant. Leafy greens like spinach and kale and cruciferous vegetables like broccoli are also rich in antioxidants. Finally, include tomatoes and carrots in your diet.
Omega-3 fatty acids are also beneficial for your skin as they maintain the skin’s lipid barrier, which retains moisture in the skin. They can also reduce skin inflammation and promote collagen production.
