How to get rid of smoker's lines

Smoker’s lines are the wrinkles that are formed around the mouth, mainly below and above the lips. They are formed due to age and exposure to suns UV rays. Place your index finger at on your nasolabial folds (the line that joins your nose to the corner of your lips). Take the other index finger and brush your smoker’s lines on the side where your index finger is placed. Do this for 30 seconds. Now repeat the same for the other side of your nose.  Now place your index finger on your marionette line (the line that starts from lips and moves to your chin) brush the area below the lips for 30 seconds. Now repeat the same for the other side of your chin.

This exercise is going to boost the blood flow to the skin and your skin will receive oxygen and essential nutrients which are necessary to get rid of smoker’s lines.

Another exercise to get rid of smoker’s lines is as follows. Make an O shape with your lips. Take two of your fingers and gently press them around your lips. Do this for 30 seconds. Then gently pat the area around your lips with your fingers in a clock wise direction. This again will boost the blood flow to your smoker’s lines.

Staying moisturized

Maintaining moisture levels is very important to prevent any type of wrinkles. There are many ways for maintaining moisture levels in the skin. One obvious way is to use a moisturizer. But before applying the same you will need to wash your face with a facial cleanser. This will clear your skin of any dust, pollution and make up. As a result the nutrients from the moisturizer will seep deeper in the skin.

You need to drink adequate amounts of water to keep your skin hydrated. Also you will need to eat foods that will help you to maintain moisture levels in the skin. Examples of foods include salmon, mackerels and sardines. Moisturized skin will help you to get rid of smoker’s lines.

Homemade remedy

We have a banana and lemon mask which is very effective to get rid of smoker’s lines. At least this is the feedback that we have received. Now banana is rich in iron, zinc, magnesium and many vitamins. Lemons are rich in vitamin C. When you combine this two you will get the perfect mask to get rid of any wrinkles.

For this mask you will need a mature banana and one lemon. Take the banana in a bowl and pour a teaspoon of lemon juice. Mash till a mask is formed. Wash your face with a facial cleanser. Apply this mask on your smoker’s lines and wait for 15 minutes. Wash with cool water and dry your skin. Do this twice a week. Keep the extra mask in a refrigerator for future use.

After using this mask you will need to use a moisturizer. This will ensure that the nutrients from the moisturizer will seep deeper in your skin.
