How To look younger?

Hydration and aging

We all love to look younger than our actual age. There are many ways by which you can look younger. The easiest way to look younger is by drinking water. This is also one of the most effective ways for anti-aging skin. We have a slogan "drink water look younger".

Let’s look at the benefits of drinking water and other effects it has on our body

Hydration and wrinkle formation

Drinking water hydrates your body and skin. Dehydrated skin or skin which lacks water loses its elasticity. This will lead to looseness of skin under the cheeks and jaws.

If you drink large amounts of water then you are less likely to suffer from wrinkles and soft lines. You can also add this ingredient to water. Wrinkles are the number one sign of aging and you must prevent them to look younger.

So you must drink water to maintain the elasticity of the skin and to prevent wrinkles. Both are important to prevent premature aging.

Drink water look younger

There is a reason why your skin needs to be hydrated to prevent aging. Water hydrates your skin and doesn’t let it become dry. Now dry skin shrinks plump skin cells. This can lead to premature fine lines and wrinkles.

Also with dry skin you may appear to have more wrinkles.

Wrinkle formation can be prevented by using a moisturiser. You have to choose a moisturizer depending upon your skin type. But you can do away with moisturizers if you drink enough water to keep your skin hydrated.

The process of hydration is important to prevent wrinkle formation which is the most visible sign og skin aging.

How much water is needed?

Water is the most important fluid that we can consume. Along with your skin, every cell, tissue and organ in your body needs water to work properly.

The amount of water one needs varies from person to person. Your individual need depends upon many factors including your sex, how active you are and where you live.

In general 8 to 10 glasses of water a day will be sufficient for most people to keep their skin hydrated.

If you consume a lot of other fluids then you can drink only 8 glasses of water.

You need to modify your total water intake by considering the following factors.

Exercise: - If you exercise daily then you will need to consume more water. This is because of the fluids you lose through seating.

Sex: - Males generally need to drink more water than females as they have a larger body

Environment: - Hot or humid weather can lead to sweating. Hence you will need more water if you live in such conditions.

Pregnancy: - If you are pregnant or breastfeeding then you will need more water.

So the amount of water you need will vary. But for most people 8 glasses of water will be enough to have wrinkle free skin.

When to drink water?

There are four times that I recommend that you must drink water. First drink water just after waking up. You can drink one or even two glasses of water in the mornings. This is important as you don’t drink water while you sleep. Hence you will be dehydrated in the mornings.

Now since you don’t drink water when you are asleep, it becomes important to drink water when you go to sleep. You don’t have to drink a whole glass of water as this can make you go to the bathroom and disturb your sleep. Keep a glass of water at your bedside in case you feel thirsty.

Drink a glass of water when you are having your food. It’s important to drink a glass of water if you are having fibre rich foods. This will help you to have proper gut movement which is important for skin health.

Last but not the least don’t forget to drink water when you exercise. This is important as you are losing a lot of fluids due to sweating.

There are other times when you will need to drink water like a glass of water before a meal will help you to regulate hunger.

Other skin benefits of drinking water

Drinking sufficient water is one of the best steps you can take to prevent wrinkles and slow down your aging process. But there are also many other skin related benefits of drinking water.

Drinking water will flush out a number of toxins from your digestive system. This will improve your complexion and you will have a glowing skin.

To keep your skin blemish free you will need to maintain your pH balance. Drinking 8 glasses of water can help you maintain your pH balance and make your skin healthy.

Drinking water can help you to heal from sunburn. You will need to use aloe vera on your skin but drinking water will also help.

Drinking water will help you regulate your body temperature during summer season.  Water will help you to prevent rashes and heat boils on your skin.

Foods that contain water

Drinking water is important to your skin health, but you must also consume foods high in water content to meet the daily need of fluids in your body. There are many fruits and vegetables that can help you meet your fluid requirements.

Fruits like watermelons, strawberries, pineapple and oranges are high in water content. Eating these fruits will keep your skin glowing and youthful.

Vegetables like bell peppers, broccoli, celery, lettuce and cucumber also have lots of fluids. Eating these fruits will also rejuvenate your skin.

We have mentioned only fruits and vegetables rich in water content as they also have antioxidants, which are important to prevent skin aging. They help to neutralize free radicals which damage the protein collagen. This protein keeps our skin firm and wrinkle free.

Consuming the above fruits and vegetables will increase the fluid content in your and keep your skin wrinkle free. This will help you to look younger than your actual age.

Hair and water

We all know that a balding head is a dead giveaway sign of aging. But then drinking water can help you with this problem.

Our hair shafts are made up of 25% water in weight. Hence drinking water will promote hair growth.

One of the side effects of dehydration is that there is a halt in hair growth. The ends of the hair will split. This will prevent hair from growing.

Drinking water will help your scalp with essential nutrients by increasing blood flow. This will help in hair growth.

Hence drink water if you don’t want to go bald and look old.

Water and weight loss

Being overweight is another sign of old age and drinking water can help you with this problem. Water doesn’t have any calories in it. It helps you to burn calories. This will help you to lose belly fats which makes you look older than your age.

Water when consumed before meals and suppress your appetite. As a result you will eat lesser.

Replacing sugary drinks with water is another way to lose weight. Sugary drinks consist of calories. Cutting down on these calories will help you lose belly fats and make you look younger.

In conclusion

Drinking water can deal with aging issues. It can help you to prevent wrinkles and fine lines. But it’s important to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.

Along with drinking water you must also consume fruits which are high in water content and antioxidants. These foods can keep your skin hydrated and boost production of collagen.

Drinking water will also help you to have glowing skin and heal your skin faster.
