Ways to remove turmeric skin stain
If you have used turmeric for a recipe and your fingers and nails are yellow then you will need warm water in a container. To this add two tablespoons of white vinegar, few drops of detergent and two tablespoons of alcohol. Soak your hands in this mixture for five minutes. Then wash with running water rubbing well.
Now if you have used a saffron mask on your face and kept it for more than 15 minutes then apply coconut oil or olive oil on a cotton pad. Gently dab it over your face until the stain is gone completely. Then wash with water.

Use vegetable oil for the stains
Vegetable oil is popularly known as cooking oil or coconut oil. Place two tablespoons of this oil in microwave-safe bowl. Keep in a microwave and heat the oil for 15 seconds. Make sure the oil is warm and not too hot. Apply this on your turmeric stain. Use only 1 tablespoon if you have a small stain.
The turmeric pigment comes out more easily with oil than with water, which means that the oil will remove stains much more easily.
Sugar scrub to get rid of turmeric skin stain
Take equal parts of sugar and water in a bowl. Mix both of them till you get a thick paste. The paste must be thick enough so that it can be spread on the face or hands. For this scrub you can use granulated or larger grain sugar.
Now massage this paste gently on your skin in circular motions over the stains. The sugar will soak up the stains. It will also exfoliate your skin. Don’t rub too hard as this can break your skin. Make a lather with soap and water and rub on your skin to remove the stains permanently. Then dry it with a towel.
If you notice that the stain on your skin is still there, make more sugar scrub and wash the stained area again.
Baking soda and lemon juice scrub
Take equal parts of baking soda and leon juice. Place this in a bowl and mix well with a spoon. Keep stirring till the mixture forms a paste. If the paste is too thick add little more lemon juice. If the paste is too liquid then add more baking soda. If you don’t have lemon juice then vinegar will work fine. You only need to make the paste thick enough so that it remains on the stains.
Both this ingredients together will remove the stains. They will also exfoliate your skin and whiten the skin.
